TomTom GO 910

I am still using TTN3 because it just does it's job on my old Pocket LOOX 600 (also using a Brodit car holder). So there is no reason for me to change a running system ;-)

TomTom released TomTom GO 910 which is amazing! One of the great features is "text-to-speech". I tried this on the TomTom homepage and created some Wave files for CheckPOInt (powered by Loquendo).

I never heard a better machine generated human voice like this!

Waves for use with CheckPOInt

CheckPOInt_Katrin_German.zip (2,5 MB)

CheckPOInt_Stefan_German.zip (2,6 MB)

I prefer Katrin (German) ;-) The generated Wave files contain some background music with silently spoken text "Loquendo" in order to indicate that it was generated by the TomTom homepage (I assume that this is the reason)! But the result is useable by CheckPOInt and TomTom Navigator 3 (I assume it should work for TTN5 too).

I used the TomTom GO 910 product link in order to create these Wave files. I additionally used the Windows Audiorecorder in order to increase the volume because CheckPOInt does not offer an option to use it's own volume setting (like TTN).
